Price Value Quality I purchased the shelter at the end of last season so did not get a chance to use it.
So far this year I have set it up and taken it down by myself over 20 times. No issues at all. Very easy set up and take down. Material is of good quality. Don't hesitate to make this purchase, you won't be sorry you did!Review by Jet

Quality Price Value I used this once last season and once again this season and so far, I really like it. I set it up on a Saturday and left it overnight to use again on Sunday. It was a windy night and on Sunday, but with use of the tie down ropes, the shanty stayed safely in place.
The windchill temps were pretty low Sunday, but a Mr. Heater buddy heater on low kept me toasty warm in the shanty.
The price is better and more reasonable than you will find anywhere else.Review by ADK Fisher

Quality Price Value I just bought the Igloo XL and it came within a few weeks. My wife helped me put it up on our front deck to check it out and I am very impressd with the quality and the price and it took me about five minutes to set it up for the first time (without the anchors. I havent been ice fishing for about twenty years( raising a family and unending honey-do lists) but that is all over now. I cant wait for next winter to come so I can check it out in real time. I also bought the Teton Celcius -25F sleeping bag so I should be set up for warmth next year. It looks like a very high quality shanty that can be set up on the ice, anchors included, with two guys in about 5 minutes. It unfolded and repacked in the same time; I am hoping to get many warm months on the ice with it over the next years.

Price Value Quality Just bought this on sale two weeks ago in Feb '11. It's a very roomy and purposeful ice tent. It will take some "getting used to" when setting it up by yourself. But it pops up quickly and easy to take down too. I would recommend bringing a cordless drill or hand-drill to pre-sink the holes as you will need to anchor it down during windy days. All this prep and set-up does take more time than a traditional flip-style ice shanty.
PROS- But the trade-off in extra room, ability to stand up and spread out are the advantages. The lighting inside is minimized so you can really see the holes and not spook the fish with daylight. Heats up nicely and holds heat well during sub-zero outings. I like the built in air-vents that provide oxygen when running a propane heater.
CONS- When heating, the walls tend to sweat and freeze up when you put it away holding in moisture. Be sure to air it out before storing for the season. I am not fond of the removable plastic windows. Too hard to align properly and get a snug fit. Drilling the holes can be a pain if you have a lot of snow. Harder to repack into the duffle when it's dark outside and you're in a hurry.
Overall, I recommend this product for anyone wanting an affordable ice shack that does what it promises. We'll see how it holds up over a couple of seasons.Review by Love to Fish in Minnesota

Price Value Quality I bought one of these this year to get back into ice fishing. My son has been showing allot of interest the last couple winters. I opted for a hub style so we could set up anywhere and try different spots as opposed to being stuck in one spot with a traditional shanty. I am 100% pleased with my purchase. I went with the KillZone for two main reasons, the price is right and the dark color soaks up the sun to help keep it warm inside. Lots of room for us, even three would be comfortable. Four people might be a little cramped though. Stays nice and warm inside. I use a small Buddy heater and only have to run it on low for about 30 mins then gets too hot inside. Even on below zero days, we stay cozy inside. If it's above freezing temps, I don't have to run a heater at all and still have to take off my jacket. 5 mins set up and take down, it's a breeze. You wouldn't go wrong with purchasing one of these.
Took it out on the ice yesterday with a couple buddies, and both now want to get one. They like it for the same reasons I do. And at the price, it's not going to brake the bank. Awesome job on this one KillZone!!!Review by crazy for fishin

Price Value Quality I just used this product for the first time this past weekend on Lake Simcoe which is located by Sutton, Ontario, Canada. Had it up an anchored within 5mins. Pre drilling the holes for the stakes is a great idea. We had around 15-20kph winds. The next morning was a whole different story. The wind was blowing around 35-40kph, it was snowing and around minus 20-25 degrees. Again it only took about 5mins to setup. Kept the heat in pretty well with only a 1500btu heater. There is enough room for 3 average sized guys to fish in this shelter. Packing the shelter is as easy as it comes. Its not like those tent bags where when you take it out there is no way your getting it back in. That is not the case with this shelter. There is plenty of room and there is no hassle when packing this up. I recommend this shelter. Its inexpensive compared to the other portable shelters that I just saw this past weekend.
